Enterprise Social Computing features comparison: MOSS 2007 vs. Sharepoint 2010
NLC will constantly fall back to our default positioning statement for enterprise social computing that goes like this: “it’s not about the technology”.
However, at the end of the day, it has to run on something. And many of our clients are currently undergoing some hard thinking and decision making around the risk reward of SharePoint 2010 vs. their installed MOSS 2007.
This post will not be a missive on the inherent benefits and challenges of either platforms, rather it is simply meant to provide readers with a handy, quick hit understanding of the two products … from the NLC perspective.
